Writing and Reading Staff - Northeast

Natali is currently pursuing bachelor's degrees in English and Political Science. Her work has been published in Writers: Craft and Context journal; her other written works can be found in the North Texas Review. Outside of tutoring she enjoys reading, writing, and thrifting. 

I enjoy overlanding (on-road and off-road adventure travel), exploring, and fishing.

I have a BA and MA in English and have worked at TCC for nineteen years. I am active in the North Texas Writing Centers Association, so I get to chat with writing center people from all over. I am a native Texan, but I have traveled all over the U.S. and to England, Australia, New Zealand, France, Canada, and China. My favorite place to visit is the beach. Even though I enjoy traveling and soaking up culture, I love being home. I have lots of plants and tons of books that need my attention.

I joined the writing center in the fall of 2023.  For many years, I have worked with students and had my own business as a private academic coach for 6 years.  I love the community college environment and enjoy working with a diverse student population which motivated me to come to TCC Northeast as a writing tutor.  In my free time I love to read, do puzzles and spend time outdoors.
