Kristin Carter Senior Supplemental Instruction Leader	Howdy! I have been at TCC forever since I was a TABS student at TR campus. I started working at TCC as a Chemistry SI Leader in Spring 2021 and became a Sr. SI Leader in Spring 2022. I'm also a student at UTA working on my Computer Science Bachelor's degree. I love opossums. Send me opossum photos.
Alexa Colvin Senior Supplemental Instruction Leader	I'm Fort Worth born and raised, so Tarrant County College has been a facet of my life since I was in high school. I've SI'd for Intro to Philosophy on and off over the years and am happy to find myself in SI's grasp as a Senior Leader now.
Brianna Cortez Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hello! My name is Brianna, and I will be supporting Pre-Calculus this fall semester. Previously, I supported Calculus I this past year, but I am excited to make the switch! My favorite subject has always been math, and I hope that through my sessions, students will not only improve their mathematical skills but also gain a new appreciation for the subject. On the other hand, when I'm not working or studying, I like to unwind by reading, playing video games, and going out with my friends and family.
Samantha Goldblatt Supplemental Instruction Leader	I’m Samantha, and this is my fourth semester hosting the HESI A2 Reading, Grammar and Vocab Workshops. In the past I’ve supported Beginning Spanish I & II, served as a co-editor on two volumes of Roots & Reflections, and last semester I volunteered to assist the Writing Center. Currently I’m a studying English at TCU, and I spend my free time reading or crafting. My favorite things to read are poetry, memoirs, and lyrical prose. Thanks for having me!
Jessi Green Supplemental Instruction Leader	My name is Jessi Green. I have been an SI for three semesters now. I absolutely love my job as an SI because I am very passionate about helping others learn different topics. I have SI’d for BIOL 1406 for two semesters and I am now SI’ing for GOVT 2305. I am working towards an Associates of Arts Degree here at TCC to further pursue my love of acting. Outside of school and work I love to read and spend time with friends and family. My favorite thing to do is travel. I have been to 30 of the 50 U.S states and plan on taking a European trip soon.
Ash Hathcock Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hi! I’ve been connected to TCC for many years and am thrilled to come back to be a humanities SI leader. I am currently working towards getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree followed by a Master’s in Library Science. I love reading and drawing and I’m a big fan of the artwork of Takashi Murakami, Francisco Goya and Salvador Dali. I look forward to getting to know you!

Apryl Moone Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hi! I am a new SI Leader, but a TCC veteran. I took my first semester at TCC back in fall of 2018 at the Northwest campus. I love writing and reading- almost as much as I love dragons and video games- and I’m excited to support the COMP 1301 classes this semester.
Aubrey Mullen Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hello! My name is Aubrey, and I am the SI Leader for MATH-2412, or Pre-Calculus. I’m currently taking my first steps towards a BS electrical engineering degree here at TCC. I like STEM subjects for the fact that within them things generally either work or don’t work, providing instant feedback in the learning process, which can be very humbling. Outside of school I attend church regularly, play volleyball, rock-climb indoors, among roughly a couple other things. I also consider myself something of a layman’s theologian/philosopher and am rather fond of discussing such topics.
Benji Munoz Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hello, I'm Damarys Munoz. I'm an ASL 3 student here at TCC. I've been coming to TCC since the Fall of 2023. I enjoy meeting new students who have a passion for ASL. Some hobbies I enjoy are drawing and listening to music. I'm excited to support SNGL-1401 this semester!
Minh Nguyen Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hello! My name is Minh. I support General Chemistry II (CHEM-1412), but I’ve also supported BIOL-1406 and CHEM-1411 in the past. I’ve concurrently been taking classes at TCC in a spirited (sometimes dispirited) attempt to finish my Associate of Science degree. Being an SI leader has made me a better student and person, and I’ve fully come out of my shell in this position. I love helping people. And cats.
Roxi Renteria Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hi! My name is Roxi. I have been working as an SI leader since 2021. I have supported Anatomy and physiology, assisted in the science learning center, and supported the nursing program in foundations and adult semesters. I graduated from the nursing program in December 2024 and currently work as a cardiac nurse. I love assisting students at all levels of understanding and look forward to meeting all the new faces!
Abel Rivera-Velez Administrative Assistant	I'm the Administrative Assistant for Supplemental Instruction at Trinity River Campus. As an Admin Assistant, it's my job to support the SIs and SI Leadership by running background tasks and handling any snags that come up along the way. Autumn is my favorite season; I just wish it was a lot colder.
Hayden Roney Learning Commons Managing Associate - Supplemental Instruction	Howdy! I'm Hayden, the SI Managing Associate for Trinity River campus. I've been working in Higher education since 2016 starting as an SI leader to now being a manager for an SI Program here at TCC! I'm a big proponent for active learning and Supplemental Instruction. Outside of the office I spend my time reading fantasy, playing table top games, and watching my kids grow up.
Mazie Salgado Cruz Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hello! My name is Mazie, and I’m the SI leader for Spanish I! I have spoken Spanish for all my life as my family is from Oaxaca, Mexico. I graduated TCC Summer 2025, and I am now pursuing a BFA in Animation and Games at UTD. I am very passionate about creating art. I also enjoy reading, creative writing, and playing guitar. I’m super excited for this semester, and I send my best wishes to all of you!
Carrie Schneckloth Supplemental Instruction Leader	I am currently getting my Associates of Nursing Degree here at TCC. I am set to graduate this Spring from the program. After I am set to start as an Oncology Nurse at HCA. This is my sixth semester as an SI. I have previously supported science classes as well as nursing classes such as Pediatrics.
Erin Taylor Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hiya! This is my third semester supporting math courses and my second facilitating the math portion of the HESI A2 workshops. I play video games, usually RPG, open world, or simulation games. I love food and am always down to try new stuff, as long as there are no blueberries! I am the third oldest of nine children and a mom of a Skinwalker pretending to be a dog. I am a super spazz and love to help others as much as I can.
Skyler Vasquez Supplemental Instruction Leader	My name is Skyler and I am an SI Leader for U.S. History! I've been an SI Leader since Summer 2023 and absolutely love it. I have a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies from UT El Paso and am working on a Master of Arts in History through UT Permian Basin. I am also working on a Graduate Certificate in Political Science. I especially love local history, presidential history, and historic weather events. I am a big-time animal person and have 2 dogs. I also love tea, gardening, and horseback riding. I'm married to a film nerd and we love exploring Texas together. If nothing else, please stop by and show me a photo of your fur baby!
Makaila Walker Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hello! My name is Makaila Walker. My hobbies include painting, reading, exercising, and crafting. When I paint, I sort of get lost in it and can work on a single piece for 5 hours if I am not careful! I love to read, but the spaces I read in have to feel just right, not to hot. I can do the cold! More blankets and tea for me! Side note, I also am a sucker for the holiday season. Hand me anything pumpkin spice and I'll drink it. Especially Pumpkin spice caramel macchiatos! I am an SI for Anatomy Physiology 1 and 2. Bones are my absolutes favorite. Bonus fact! I love dogs! I would like to have a Dalmation and a Cane Corso.
Josiah Weber Supplemental Instruction Leader	Hi! I'm Josiah Weber and this is my first semester as an SI! I'll be supporting ENGL 1301 in the fall, having taken the course during my time at the South Campus through their Dual Credit program. I am a TCU alum who has majored in Political Science - International Relations and had minors in Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies, as well as Middle East Studies. I spent a semester abroad in the Fall semester of 2023, where I resided and took classes in Madrid, seeing much of Spain and a few cities outside of it. In my free time, I love to go to arcades, read superhero comics, and visit art museums.
