Greetings, students! :) I’m Ron Cuanang, your SI Leader this Fall 2024 for Biology 1408. I am a business major taking a few classes at TCC, but my fascination with biology transcends the limits of my major of choice. Just like a lysosome, I aim to help you break down this course into its simpler components, and therefore easier to digest (like cookie dough, my favourite flavour of ice cream). I’m Amber, your SI support for Anatomy and Physiology II. I am currently a student taking pre-reqs for nursing, a fitness professional and have been teaching yoga for over 16 years. My husband and I have three children. In my spare time I ltraveling with my family, hiking, practicing yoga, and curling up with a good thriller novel. I’m excited to share my passion for A&P and help you succeed in this course!

As an SI leader, I provide resources and support for students for notoriously difficult courses such as group study sessions, reviews, and study tips. I hope to become a pediatric nurse practitioner in the future. I love sports such as gymnastics/dance and soccer.

Hello! I’m Samuel Ford, I am an SI for Anatomy and Physiology 1 this upcoming semester. I am currently working towards becoming a radiology tech and I am almost done with my prerequisites. I aspire to eventually become a radiologist and hopefully be able to travel. My current hobbies include playing video games, rock climbing and playing with my dog.

I started out as a Speech Supplemental Instruction Leader at ECHS, then I was a Geology SIL for a couple of semesters until Fall 2021. After that, I assisted with various Math courses ranging from Contemporary Math to Calculus III. Lastly, I began observing Senior SIL duties in Spring 2022. Outside of TCC, I play basketball, piano, and sometimes I like to record music and edit videos for fun.

I started as an SI Leader in the middle of the Fall 2024 semester for Geology 1403. I returned to school after a long hiatus and am currently focusing on pursuing a computer science degree. I do plan to transfer to a university, but where exactly is currently up in the air. In my spare time, I love gaming, rock climbing, and longboarding.

My goal is to complete my basics at TCC and then transfer to TWU to pursue a degree in speech language pathology.

I have an Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, and the Baking & Pastry certificate. All from TCC. I'm a foodie, an avid reader, and a lifelong learner. I'm here to support the students.

I am a proud alumnus of the University of Texas at Arlington where I received my B.A. in Linguistics with a TESOL certificate. I began working in the Tarrant County College SE Reading Writing Resource Center in 2016 as an intern, then as a full-time tutor. Now, I am the Learning Commons Managing Associate for Supplemental Instruction. During my free time, you can find me tending to my garden and vast collection of house plants, watching true crime documentaries, and taking care of my dog and two cats. I also enjoy anything outdoors, like hiking and camping!

I started out as an SI leader at TCC after my first semester of classes with supporting History 1301. I also helped to support the Early College High School courses for a couple of semesters. During my free time, I love to write stories, watch horror movies, and listen to music. I also enjoy playing with my cats, watching anime or Korean dramas, playing video games, baking/cooking, and singing. I am working to finish my basics and get a degree in English at UTA. I hope to one day publish novels (and possibly poetry) and work on editing other stories as well.

My name is Alexander Samuel, I’m am currently pursuing an AA in Business and I will be transferring to UTA in Fall 2024 to receive a BBA in Management. Afterwards I am looking to pursue my JD with the intention of becoming a corporate lawyer with my dream school being SMU Dedman School of Law. I became an SI Leader in February 2024. Another thing to know about me is that I have been greatly involved on campus over the years from my membership with the Intercultural Network, working as a student employee with Student Activities, conducting NSORs/NTOs as a peer leaders, to being Senator at Large with the Student Government Association. My hobbies include traveling, spending time with friends/family, and watching YouTube/Netflix.

I started as an SI Leader in Spring 2024 for non-science majors Biology 1406. I enjoy learning about science and the applications it has in life. I hope to pursue a doctorate in a science-related or health-related field soon. I find scientific research fascinating and enjoy reading about the exciting advancements and implications it has on our future. The recent discovery of CRISPR-Cas9 system has made this an exciting time for humanity. I look forward to sharing my passion for science and helping others succeed. My hobbies include reading, weightlifting, cycling, and computers.

I start as an SI leader in Spring 2025 for computer science majors. I had studied at Tarrant County College, southeast campus from 2022-2023, as an undergraduate; working towards my Associates in Information Technology Programming. Throughout this time period, I had vigorously applied myself to my studies; which allowed me to gain a new found perspective on the intricate nature of computer science. This in turn, has allowed me to help other understand these concepts.
