Science Staff - TR

I have always loved science growing up and my role model was paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler from Jurassic Park. Later, I discovered my love of biomedical sciences and am currently a health administration student at TWU but, I have also been at TCC since 2018 and I’ve taken most of the sciences that TCC has to offer. My strengths are Geology for science and non-science majors, biology/ microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology 1. As a student, I have learned a lot here and am excited to help others reach their goals!

I received my BA in Geology with minor in biology at University of Texas Arlington and complete all requirements for my science teacher certification for 7-12 grades. I have been teaching in formal and informal settings for around 6 years for elementary to high school. My strengths are GEO, BIO, and CHEM, but can assist with PHY and Anatomy. 

I am a former registered nurse and science education student who is currently working on a Biology B.A. at UTA. I am able to tutor chem 1, chem 2, all Biology classes (including Anatomy & Physiology), Physics 1, and basic Earth Science.

I am a nursing student at TCC. I completed all my nursing prerequisites at TCC Trinity River, and the Science Learning Center contributed greatly to my success. I can help you with A&P 1, A&P 2, and Microbiology.

I am a Fort Worthian who attended FWISD schools, TCJC, and UTA.  I retired from an over-20-year career of public education having taught all levels from pre-k to high school.   I look forward to supporting students with their educational needs, in addition to, tutoring with Intro. Biol. and Chemistry 1 and 2.

I completed my Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) in December, 2022. I am currently taking prerequisites courses for a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). I will be helping in A&P I and II and other nursing prerequisites.

My name is Raghul Sachithanandam, and I am starting nursing in the fall. I can help you with A&P 1, A&P 2, Microbiology, and Chemistry. 

My name is Matthew Jewell and I have completed my associates of science and arts in May 2023. I am currently seeking a bachelor's of environmental science from the university of North Texas. I currently assist in A&P I and II, Biology I and II, Chemistry I and II, and geology-based courses.
