Science Staff - NE

Hey there! I'm Vidhi, I typically tutor general chemistry and biology. I'm currently finishing up my master's in Computer Science from UT Austin (Hook 'em!). I love curating playlists for every single mood I can possibly imagine, exploring different cuisines, and engaging in random trivia activities!

I've been with the NE SLC as a tutor for Biology and Chemistry since 2007, but Anatomy & Physiology is my absolute favorite.  I like to refer to our A&P textbooks as a “user’s manual for humans.”  I also love the arts, including music, literature, and film.  I have lived in North Texas most of my life, but love to travel whenever I get the chance - which isn’t often enough!  I have hope for our future and believe education is one of the keys to that hopeful vision.

Hello, I am the Manager at the Science Center at Northeast Campus. My journey with TCC started almost eight years ago as an adjunct faculty teaching Chemistry courses at Southeast and Trinity Rivers. I have served as an Instructional Associate at Trinity River. I received my Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Missouri and worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Purdue University. I am passionate about teaching and providing support to students in their learning. I look forward to seeing you at Science Center!”

I was born in Africa, but consider myself a Fort Worth native. I attended Texas Wesleyan University, where I obtained a bachelor's of science degree in Biochemistry. Tutoring is something I am passionate about. I've been tutoring chemistry and intro biology since January 2017 at TCC NE SLC. When I'm not on campus I'm at home playing with my two kids and enjoying family time. My hobbies include playing basketball and working out.
