Math Staff - TR

Before joining Learning Commons in Janurary 2024 as a Senior Learning Commons Associate in the Math Center, Ms. Scoggins served as a math tutor for Arlington ISD, Fort Worth ISD, and Dasllas ISD.  Her professional experience also includes roles as a Resident Quality Engineer in the Semiconductor Insdustry and as a Project Manager at Kohler Public Company.  Residing in Bedord, TX for the last eight years with her husband and twin daughters, aged 14, Ms. Scoggins finds joy in family activities, cooking, and listening to music in her leisure time.  Her passion lies in assisting students with mathematics, a role she embraces wholeheartedly.

I've worked since Fall 2019. I am a math Sr. Learning Common Associate. My hobbies include music production, programming, playing guitar. I've lived in Fort Worth most of my life and really like the area.

I was born in Texas and as a military dependent travelled with the family to various stations before returning to Texas.

I attended Jr high and high school in Fort Worth. All of my college has been in Texas. I have attended TCC as a student, while also working for TCC all over the last 30 years spending some time as student and then 17 years as part time Math Tutor (South campus) and about 12 years as full-time Math Tutor (Trinity campus).

I was a full time participant in sports of every kind for the majority of my life, I Love Family and consider all people to be family.

I am thankful to GOD for my being alive and for being born into this country to wonderful parents and am thankful to all of the students and school for allowing me to be able to participate in the Life and Learning of our students. I just continue to be thankful to be able to participate in the Gift of Life provided to me and to all by HIM.

I have been working for TCC for about 10 years now as a math Sr. LC  associate. Before joining TCC, I was a secondary math teacher. I have a rescue dog who loves to work in the garden with me.

I am the manager of the Math Testing Center, Math Tutoring Center. I am also a Math Instructor. I've enjoyed my whole career in education since 1994 beginning with UT Arlington, Arlington ISD, Fort Worth ISD as the math teacher. I began working for TCC 25 years ago. I like traveling, barefoot waterskiing and collecting art. I have had the good fortune to work in education for my entire career. It has afforded me the unique opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of our students by teaching them how to think, analyze, create so they can build a better future for themselves.

I have been a member of the Trinity River campus community since 2011.
I am a math LC Associate Senior.  My background is in mathematics. Besides math, I enjoy reading books, cooking, and watching sports.

I moved to Texas in high school. I began working at TCC in 2014. My pronouns are he/him. I enjoy long walks on the beach. I am a cat daddy to two adorable felines, Mr. Wilson and Ms. Kumiko-san.

I have worked for TCCD since 2012. I have lived in Dallas all of my life. I love to travel and have been to many states. I love to watch TV and movies. My tutoring experience is in math which I have been doing for over 11 years.
