SKD Service Projects and Activities, 2023-2024 Academic Year

Fall 2023:

The chapter was inactive because of our inability to: 1) get a list of potential recruits and their email addresses, and 2) get SKD HQ to upload our potential recruits quickly into the system. Our efforts were focused solely on spring recruitment this year. 

Spring 2024:

• Mission Arlington, January 2024
• Arlington Charities Mobile Food Pantry, monthly
• SGA Hygiene Drive, March 2024
• Movie Night: Kung Fu Panda IV, April 2024
• River Legacy Park Cleanup, April 2024

Plus, several events related to the late Tonyia Benton, her scholarship, and her tree:

• Fundraising Check Presentation
• Tree Planting Ceremony as a remembrance
