Student Government Association

Welcome to the Connect Campus Student Government Association!

The Student Government Association (SGA) of Connect Campus serves to represent and speak on behalf of the student body, facilitating changes in policy and practices at our campus.

In addition to these honored duties, the Student Government Association also works to build leadership and volunteer activity on campus and diligently represents TCCD and the student body within the community.

James Hallier - Parliamentarian

I’m passionate about local politics, and my role as Parliamentarian for the Student Government Association at Tarrant County College gives me the opportunity to serve our students while deepening my understanding of campus political processes. I’m excited to be part of this team and make a difference. As a sophomore, I plan to transfer to UT Austin to major in Government with double minors in Business and Italian. With several political internships and volunteer experiences, I look forward to contributing positively as Parliamentarian.

Chelsie Simpkins - historian

Chelsie “Cece” Simpkins is a hospitality major with over 10 years of experience in the hospitality and business industry.  She aspires to be a pioneer and an innovator in the hospitality sector of business. Chelsie's mission is to promote self-care, self-awareness and self-confidence.

What sets her apart is her commitment to holding herself accountable and striving to be better than before. Thank you, peace and prosperity to you all!
